Autobiography.. !!!
Born on 18th July 1979 in Mumba i(Then Bombay) to
Stephen and Gracy. Did primary schooling in JBS Angamaly(Kerala).
Went to Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Ernakulam where I studied upto 12th
standard. JNVN is a residential school located in a lovely High Ranges of
Neriamangalam.
Joined Govt Engg.college thrissur, where i did a batchelor degree in
Computer Science and engineering.
After the college?
Like most of the engineers graduated in the year 2001,
the company delayed induction. I was left in between sea and the devil
But fortunately, for me things took to a better shape again. I'll be
always indebted to Suresh Babu my guru and friend with whom We started a
software development and training initiative in Angamaly - A small town in
cochin . We started with Training in computer science beginners' courses -
like Windows,word , dtp , linux ,c . I did a lot of evangelism on linux in
those times . Slowly, we took to software development.
Work - Linux - Work
We chose C/GTK/Postgresql platform. PUMBA - our first software is
currently used by KSR mills Ernakulam. Though it was technically an
enviable product, it didn't pay us enough considering the months our team
put into it's development.
Worked In Indserve Infotech NewDelhi from March 2002 to October 2002.
Worked as Architect and Project leader for Kalculate - First Financial
Accounting Package for Linux. Kalculate was tested and lauched by IBM.
ADP Wilco & AS400
This is where I unlearned dreaming. I found that it's not dreaming but
strategic planning which leads to success. I always wanted to know how
larger teams worked. Now I know and appreciate the management hierachies
maintained in companies. I found how companies enforce accountability.
This is probably something the open-source community will never be able to
do. And I must say, AS400 is a great machine. Unix is not the only cool
